Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accepting these Terms during your first sign-in, or by continuing to use the World Golf Together platform ("WGT", "the Platform"), you agree to them in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

WGT operates as part of the Talent Drive Sportsnetwork of sport platforms ("TDS", the identity provider). Access to WGT requires a Talent Drive Sports account — these Terms govern your use of the WGT Platform itself and complement (without replacing) the Talent Drive Sports Terms of Use, which govern the underlying account.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is open to junior golfers (aged 18 and under — categories U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18) and their parents or legal guardians.

Children cannot register directly. A parent or legal guardian must hold a Talent Drive Sports account (set up at talentdrivesports.com), add a profile for each child on that account, and select golf as one of the child's sports — this is what makes the child visible on the WGT Platform.

By doing so, the parent or legal guardian:

  • confirms they have parental authority or legal guardianship over the child;
  • consents, on behalf of the child, to the collection and processing of the child's personal data (name, date of birth, gender, nationality and competition history) by Talent Drive Sports and by WGT, in accordance with our Privacy Policy;
  • takes full responsibility for the accuracy of the child's profile and compliance with these Terms.

WGT reserves the right to remove access to any child profile where parental authority cannot be established or where these Terms have been violated. Removing access on WGT does not delete the underlying Talent Drive Sports account — that is governed by the Talent Drive Sports Terms.

3. Account & Identity Provider

Account creation, login, password management, two-factor authentication and email changes are all handled by Talent Drive Sports. WGT never sees your password and does not control your account credentials. To change them — or to close your underlying Talent Drive Sports account entirely — visit talentdrivesports.com.

When you sign in to WGT, Talent Drive Sports shares with us the information needed to identify you and your child profile(s): your name, your child's first name, last name, date of birth, gender, nationality and selected sports. This data is read-only on WGT — to update it, edit it on your Talent Drive Sports profile and the change will be reflected here the next time you sign in.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Talent Drive Sports credentials. Any activity carried out under your account on WGT is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorised use, take immediate action on talentdrivesports.com (password reset, sign out everywhere) and notify us at contact@worldgolftogether.com.

WGT may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform (a "WGT ban", independent from your Talent Drive Sports account) where these Terms have been violated.

4. Tournament registrations

Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellations by the participant — You may cancel your registration up to 72 hours before the tournament start date directly from your profile page. After this deadline, cancellations are no longer possible and no refund will be issued.

If your registration has been confirmed (payment received), cancellation within the permitted period entitles you to a full refund to your original payment method, processed within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. If your registration is pending (payment not yet completed), cancellation incurs no charge.

Cancellations by WGT— WGT reserves the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule a tournament in the event of force majeure, insufficient registrations, inclement weather, facility issues, or other circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, WGT's liability is limited to the provision of credits or transfers to another event; refunds will be considered at WGT's discretion. WGT shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by participants in connection with the cancelled or modified event.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. WGT does not store any payment card information. By completing a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (opens in new tab).

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform (text, images, logos, graphics) is the exclusive property of World Golf Together or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Any reproduction or use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of liability

WGT operates as an organiser and facilitator of junior golf tournaments. WGT is not responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage sustained by a participant during or in connection with a tournament. Participation is at the participant's own risk. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child is medically fit to compete.

WGT's liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Platform or a tournament shall in no event exceed the registration fee paid for the relevant event. WGT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of enjoyment, whether or not WGT has been advised of the possibility of such loss.

WGT shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, civil unrest, pandemics, or failure of third-party services (including Stripe or email providers).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes WGT's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law are not affected by these Terms.

8. Modifications

WGT reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer residing in a European Union member state, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, which cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable local law.
